Industria Chimica S.p.A.  a family owned company located North of Parma in Italy produces a range of oleo chemicals starting from tallow (animal) palm oil (vegetable origin) and oleic acid (animal & vegetable origin). SO.G.I.S. Products

Esters for lubricant oils are derived mainly from fatty acids, making them highly biodegradable and mostly renewable. These esters are used in a variety of applications, including plastic materials, the leather industry, textiles, biodegradable hydraulic oils, metalworking, and cosmetics. The product range includes 2-Ethyl Hexyl Laurate, Oleate, Palmitate, Stearate, Tallowate, Isotridecylstearate, Trimethylolpropane Triolate, and Pentaerythritol Tetraoleate. All these products are compliant with Ecolabel standards. 

Fatty acid amides, such as amide wax/EBS derived from renewable fatty acids, offer excellent slip and lubricant properties along with good block resistance. These properties make them suitable for coatings, inks, plastics, and bitumen. Additionally, Stearamide MEA is used in wood plastic composites and sealants to enhance thickness and foaming capabilities. 

Saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, sourced from renewable animal or vegetable materials, have a wide range of applications. These include industrial lubricants, mould release agents, inks, coatings, plastic materials, rubber, paper, candles, textiles, detergents, pharmaceuticals, and animal feeding. 

Glycerides, including mono, di, and triglycerides from renewable animal or vegetable sources, are used in polyolefins, thermosetting resins, rubber, detergents, textiles, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and animal feeding. 

Natural glycerin, which is pharma-grade and highly pure (over 99.5%), is derived from renewable sources. It is suitable for use in technical industries, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, animal feeding, and food contact applications. 

Metal soaps and stearates, such as stearates, laurates, and hydroxistearates of calcium, zinc, and magnesium, are produced from renewable sources. These products comply with Ph Eur Specifications and are used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, animal feeding, and food contact applications. Additionally, they are suitable for polymers, resins, the building industry, rubber, paints, and glues.
